Century 21 boss goes solar

Kitisak Jampathipphong, Chief Executive Officer of real estate agency Century 21 in Thailand, has revealed he has entered the solar roof farm business.

He has joined with Yokohama Holdings, a leader in designing and installing solar power system from Japan, to enter the Thai market in response to business trend toward alternative energy. The new venture focuses on every market including industrial factories, hotels, resorts and solar farms.

The new venture is set to be listed on the stock market within three years.
Kitisak Jampathipphong said that the agreement with Yokohama Holdings comes from his private investment. He viewed Yokohama Holdings experience and skill in installing solar energy system, combined with the global trend moving towards clean energy.

The Thai government has also supported the green campaign by reducing unnecessary energy consumption in households or using alternative energy.

Kitisak also revealed he has been the business partner with Yokohama Holdings for more than eight years.

He said: “My project with Yokohama will support each other’s strength.”

Although the cooperation is based on his own investment, it reflects that from now on Century 21 (Thailand), in its capacity as a real estate broker, is a leading real estate business looking towards green saving by offering alternatives to trade partners or real estate allies.

The company believes it can provide them with an option to efficiently manage their residential projects or buildings whose value constantly increase. Customers, who are home owners or service users, and the whole country, will benefit from the cooperation with a private sector that pays more attention to clean energy which the government is ready to support.”
