The Consumer Protection Board (CPB) of Thailand has announced it will prosecute some well-known companies for alleged breach of contracts.
According to a statement from the Public Relations Department of the Royal Thai government, during a meeting chaired by the Minister attached to the Prime Minister’s Office, M.L. Panadda Diskul, the CPB members agreed to file a lawsuit against property developers and a service provider for their lalleged failure to comply with terms and conditions. This following numerous complaints from consumers.
The lawsuit targets Prinsiri PCL., Human Nest Co., Ltd., Bangkok Resident, and Ranger Investigation Co.,Ltd.
Customers of the Sixnature Kalapapruek housing project run by Prinsiri PCL alleged the company refused to hand them property in line with their contracts. Human Nest was alleged to have rejected buyers’ demands for refunds, despite its inability to complete its Living Nest condominium project on time.
Meanwhile security provider Ranger Investigation was allegedly blamed for shunning a customer’s demand for THB 92,000 in compensation after a house theft.
No comments were provided by the alleged infringes.
