Ananda thinks outside of the box

A recent YouTube hit from Ananda expresses the role we all play in Bangkok’s future. 

One Thai developer has taken a new approach to their marketing strategy. Ananda Development known for their string of projects across Thailand that include the brand names Ashton, Ideo and Elio, have a proven track record of successful properties. Their latest campaign is a short online film titled ‘Today. Together. Tomorrow’. 

Released to kick start the launch of Ananda’s new properties next month, the purpose of the film is to emphasise that we all need to be contributors in building a better city for Bangkok. Their belief if that this can be achieved through people by not being led by selfish motives. The developer’s brand message of a ‘culture of collaboration’ ties in nicely throughout. 

The film travels to the future illustrating how technology can enhance our lives as we all strive for a better tomorrow. It then reverts to the everyday concrete jungle that is Bangkok today. Showing how urbanisation has stripped the city of any green, and the everyday challenges that are faced. This includes getting caught in traffic and racing around to keep up with the fast pace of life. “Competing, racing against the clock every day”, as the voice over states. Both that result in tiredness and exhaustion.

Raising the question as to whether this is the situation we wish to be in, the film cites how a team effort is needed to overcome these issues. “We could solve the problems of today. We could build a better tomorrow”.

Ananda has been clever to use this to promote their ‘urban living solutions’ brand. Their developments are aiming to make Bangkok a greener and healthier place to be. It will be interesting to see at the unveiling of their new projects how Ananda achieve this.

GREYnJ United, the agency behind the film, said in a press statement, “With their ambitious vision to help build a better city, Ananda Development acknowledges that it is a task impossible to achieve alone”.
