Asoke isn’t the residential hotbed that Wireless Road, Thong Lor or even Ari is. There are a few older condominium developments coupled with a handful of newer ones, but that’s about it. However, more Thai homebuilders are launching new Asoke condo developments.
When you think about Asoke, it is easy to see why people would want to live here. It is one of only three locations where the BTS and MRT intersect. This makes travelling around most of the Thai capital a painless process. Additionally, the area is only a couple of stations away from both Silom, Bangkok’s primary CBD, and Rama IX, the city’s new CBD.
Restaurants, nightlife options and shopping surround Asoke. Perhaps the only downside is the traffic. Asoke Junction is one of Thailand’s busiest intersections and anyone who has tried to navigate this area during rush hour knows what a nightmare it is. However, there is no real need to drive with the public transportation connections available.

Walden Asoke is the only low-rise condominium to make this list. Habitat Group opted for a low-density, eight-storey project that allowed it to focus on creating a quality living experience. Despite being one of the firm’s first Bangkok developments, it has been popular with buyers and is already 90 percent sold out. Amenities at Walden Asoke include an automatic car park, sky gardens and a library.
The Esse Asoke
Developer: Singha Estate

Scheduled to be complete in 2019, The Esse Asoke is one of two ambitious Asoke developments from Singha Estate. The project promises residents a luxurious experience that caters to modern needs. A sculpture court, residence lounge and skyscraper deck are just a few of the facilities that will be available to those who live in The Esse Asoke.

Celes Asoke

Celes Asoke will be only a two-minute walk from the Sukhumvit MRT station when completed. Developer Lucky Living wants to offer residents a chance to live like a star. In order to do this, the 40-storey condominium will be equipped with an automatic car park, water club, fitness club and alfresco terrace. Units start from THB 17 million.
Sháá Asoke
Developer: KPN Land and Keppel Land (51/49% JV project)

Of all the new Asoke condo developments, Sháá Asoke is the most mysterious. Pre-sales opened in May, but units are not being sold openly just yet. The condominium is a partnership between KPN Land and Singapore-based Keppel Land and is located on Sukhumvit Soi 19.
