Please be advised that there is construction happening around the apartment building, so it is dusty and noisy enroute to the apartment building, but as soon as you entered the apartment building area, it is quiet, clean, clear and not dusty.
 
1 minute drive away there's an ELECTRIC CAR CHARGING station. Please remember to check if your car is compatible with the charging station's chargers, most local Thai cars are compatible. EAANYWHERE charging station name.
 
Around 11 minutes Grab Bike ride to Terminal 21 Rama 3. It's a nice alternative to Terminal 21 Asok, as it is slightly quieter, but has just as many great shops, as well as an extremely cheap but clean food court at the top floor that almost 90% of the restaurants in this food court charges on average only 35 baht - 60 baht for a full delicious and healthy meal of many different cuisines and varieties. This mall is also connected to a Pier for boat cruises on its ground floor. Also there's a dinosaurs themed amusement park on higher floors that's great for young family with young children.

(because it’s right across from the Kasikorn bank head quarters building)
It’s right under the bridge, you’ll see the blue bus stop sign under the bridge in front of a few motorbike taxi drivers
 
8:34AM from HOME To ICON SIAM 8:50 AM = 15 mins
this is also the BTS Gold Line —> --y a BTS ticket from here to get to the rest of the other BTS (green Sukhumvit and dark green Silom) lines without needing to pay again. 
 
8:34 AM to Sanam Chai MRT (Grand Palace) 9:06 AM= 35 min (turn left from grand palace bus station walk 5 mins to Sanam Chai MRT station)
 
8:34 AM to Sam Yot MRT (China Town) = 33 mins
 
BUS 6 (4-1) final station takes you right to Khao San Road
 
On way back from ICON SIAM to HOME:
Take bus from the LEFT side of the Icon Siam building, on the same side of the street as Icon Siam, name is: KLONGSAN MARKET / ICON SIAM station. Same Bus number 6 (4-1)
 
Loaner HOP card for air conditioned electric blue buses: 
Maximum HOP card will charge you is 50 baht a day no matter how many bus and boat trips you take in a day BUS PERKS!
You can get this HOP card yourself from 711 for 28 baht. But we are unsure if you can top up money to the card without a Thai payment card/account/bank. If you can’t we can help you charge it after you’ve sent us money online or in cash before you head out 
Option 2: You borrow a loaner HOP card from us, pay a deposit of 28 baht online or in cash and we can refund you the amount when you return the card to us when you depart (simply leave it in your unit and take a picture to send us). We will charge money for you onto the card, you can send us money to charge online or in cash. We will offer appropriate online payment methods depending on which banks you bank with globally.

6 (4-1) is the most reliable bus. I don’t recommend playing around trying to wait for other buses on Rat Burana unless you have time to play around with.
