Thailand’s tallest building lights up

Thailand’s tallest building celebrates a light show for its completion on Monday.

One of the most exciting looking buildings to grace Bangkok’s skyline is celebrating it’s completion with a light show on Monday. The MahaNakhon skyscraper next to Chong Nonsi BTS station in the Sathorn/Silom district of the capital is Thailand’s tallest building that has a clever design that makes the building look incomplete.

Cubed sections of the skyscraper have been carved out to create an interesting perspective from outside, and also some rather unique room layouts inside with transparent floors.

This 77-storey freehold development is aimed to be the epitome of luxury. Thailand’s tallest building at over 300 metres is a mixed used scheme housing the Ritz-Carlton Residences, a condominium, hotel, retail and restaurants. All of which can enjoy a five-star service that the Ritz-Carlton is known for worldwide.

The opening of this exciting building by PACE Development has raised the bar for Bangkok. Achieving a look that some may have thought would have been inconceivable, it’s hotly anticipated completion will include two light shows on Monday 29 August at 7:30 pm and 8:25 pm for the public to enjoy.
