Serene Condominium celebrates its groundbreaking

Groundbreaking at Serene Condominium took place in late October with construction now underway on the highly anticipated development. Located between Surin and Bang Tao Beaches in Phuket, the project has been celebrated for its sustainable and innovative features which are one step closer to becoming a reality.

Serene Condominium hit another significant milestone recently when it was announced that 50 percent of the development has sold out. Equally impressive was the fact most of the sales were completed online due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Detailed planning went into Serene Condominium so it would maximize resources while minimizing the impact it had on the environment. For example, the use of non-recycled plastic was banned while the ceilings in common areas where equipped with Green Board, a product made entirely from recycled material.

Other initiatives include solar panel installation on the roof of Serene Condominium. The electricity generated from these can cover up to 30 percent of total peak energy consumption. Additionally, on-site water resource management that collects rainwater and grey water that can then be used for non-consumable purposes.
