One of Bangkok’s most anticipated developments has proven to be a hit with buyers. Sales at The Forestias recently passed the THB13 billion mark with developer MQDC reporting more than half of that total being raised over the past three months. The project’s showroom opened in May.

“In the last three months, more people have purchased homes at The Forestias than in the three years since we announced the project as a town that will put the health of its residents first and where everything is designed from the ground up, for healthier and happier living,” Khun Kittiphun Ouiyamaphun, The Forestias Project Director, told the Bangkok Post.

In May, MQDC launched The Forest Pavilion, the largest ever real estate showroom created in Thailand. The developer hoped the facility could convey the size and scope of the township to potential buyers and brisk sales indicate that it has been successful. The showroom contains sample units from three of the estate’s seven residential projects.

With the COVID-19 pandemic leading to a change in buyer preferences, developments that focus on health and wellness, such as The Forestias, have become much more popular.

“The heightened awareness of good health created by COVID-19-19 as well as an increased sense of family bonding from lifestyle changes imposed by the pandemic have made our offer of a community that is close to nature that allows multiple generations to live within easy reach of each other extremely relevant at this time.”

The Forestias contains three high-rise condominiums under the developer’s Whizdom brand along with several low-rise condominiums. Additionally, the mix-used project will have cluster-home residences for extended, multi-generational families and branded residences by hospitality firm Six Senses.

According to MQDC, The Forestias’ residential projects will be finished in first half of 2024.
