Users of Thailand-Property.com, the Kingdom’s largest English language property website, were searching all over the country for homes and properties to rent last week.
We have delved deep into the data for last week – the week ending Sunday, September 20, – and have highlighted the top three most-viewed listings for property for rent on Thailand-Property.com.
In top spot (pictured below) was a condo on the outskirts of central Bangkok in the On Nut area, priced at THB 12,000 per month. A dense residential area with high-rise condos and home development projects, On Nut has quickly become popular with expats wanting to take advantage of the more affordable rental prices compared with those further along the Sukhumvit BTS line towards central Bangkok, which is only a matter of 30 minutes away. The area also boasts a major Tesco Lotus and Big C shopping centres, plus great street food and and fashion markets. There’s also easy access to the Expressway for the two Bangkok airports.
The second most-viewed listing for properties for rent on Thailand-Property.com last week (pictured below) was also in Bangkok – a condo for rent on the Ratchathewi-Makasan area for THB10,000 per month. This listed as a brand new condominium located at the Makasan Airport Link. The unit is fully-furnished with appliances and an amazing unblocked view overlooking Bangkok. The unit is a mere ten minutes’ walk from Central Plaze Rama 9 Shopping Mall and the Airport Link at Makhasan. The condominium has full facilities including a swimming pool and library, and there’s even a 24-hour mini-mart below the building.
The third most-viewed property for rent on Thailand-Property.com (pictured below) was a one-bedroom condo in Pattaya listed at THB 12,000 per month. Located with the Porchland II Jomtien Resort, the unit is within an 8-storey condominium development with two buildings and one of a total of 154 units. Amenities include a public park, swimming pool, fitness centre, a mini-mart, internet cafe, restaurant and ground floor car parking and 24-hour security. This unit for rent is on the eighth floor (corner) and ownership is in Thai name, however tenants can be of any nationality.
