Property development group, Apasiri Grou
p announced that it has committed to an investment of more than 3 billion baht to create 11 new housing projects, hotels and resorts. These new projects will be located in beach and hillside destinations in the southern provinces, as well as some select places in Bangkok.
The financing behind this major investment comes mostly from the thriving livestock business, P.S. Contract Farming Co., a company that expects to record 900 million baht in sales and 875 million in revenue from its property business.
While Apasiri is focusing on residential and tourism projects, WHA Corporation Plc will continue its trend of developing warehouses and distribution centers with its plan to launch a 4.7 billion baht real estate investment trust (REIT) by the end of this year. With unrivalled growth outlook. WHA will produce three warehouse projects. These will be more than just warehouses though, as the company is planning on setting up a new infrastructure fund that will be backed by solar cells and assets worth 2 billion baht. This solar cell project will have the power to generate up to 4-8 megawatts. As reported by The Bangkok Post, WHA wants to raise the capacity to 20-30 MW before setting up the fund.
