Minor International and U City, in a joint venture, have launched a luxury, resort-style condominium development in Chiang Mai.
The Anantara Chiang Mai Serviced Suites (pictured) is the second luxury residential project under the Anantara brand, following ‘The Residences by Anantara’ at Layan beach in Phuket.
Construction of the Chiang Mai project started last year, and the 7-storey building will feature 44 units in total – from one-bedroom suites (60 sqm to 67 sqm), two-bedroom suites (87 sqm to 94 sqm) and three-bedroom suites (150 sqm to 162 sqm). The project is expected to be completed and ready for occupation next month.
Apart from its spacious living areas, highlights of the project include Anantara Residences’ signature interior decoration style featuring modern contemporary, with a mix between traditional Lanna style and modern decoration and complemented by facilities from Anantara’s Chiang Mai Resort located opposite the condominium.
The Anantara Chiang Mai Serviced Suites is situated on Charoen Prathet Road, and is a five-minute walk from Chiang Mai Night Bazaar.
Prices start at THB 12 million. The company reported strong demand for units at the project. Anantara Chiang Mai Resort also manages leasing services for investors with guaranteed income of 4 percent of the purchase price during the first two years after the transfer of ownership.
