The loan application deadline for the Government housing project has been extended until the end of this month.
Government Savings Bank (GSB) Director Chatchay Payuhanaweechai said only half of the 30,000 people that applied before the previous deadline were eligible for the loan.
He urged those who have already registered with the GSB to submit the required documentation if they want to expedite their application.
The GSB extended the deadline for those who wish to apply for the low-interest loans because there is approximately THB 3 billion remaining in the bank’s budget.
This has given prospective homeowners another chance to buy property.
The registration period will end on Saturday, April 30.
