Just one title for Thailand

During an evening of celebration and triumph for Southeast Asia’s diverse property and real estate sector, developers and developments from Thailand took home just one of the coveted awards.

At last night’s grand finale of the South East Asia Property Awards 2015 in Singapore, Far East Organization became the first company ever to win the Best Developer (South East Asia) title twice – having previously claimed the honour in 2011.

Thailand’s sole winner came in the Design section where the Best Residential Interior Design (South East Asia) went to The Residences by Anantara by Minor International.

Overall, it was a spectacular year for Singapore and Malaysia as they accepted four awards each from Asia’s biggest and most credible real estate awards event, organised by Ensign Media, the Asia Property Awards, which celebrates its tenth year.

BDO International, one of the biggest accounting firms in the world, once again supervised the free-to-enter awards system that is universally known for its fairness and transparency. Entries were received from industry players as well as submissions from the general public.

“This evening is the end of a year-long journey to find the best of the best across Southeast Asia. It is the crowning event of the hard work of developers and real estate professionals in the region as it approaches a new era of economic integration,” said Terry Blackburn, Chief Executive Officer of organisers Ensign Media.

“The depth of innovation and leadership displayed by all the contenders this year is a great reminder why Southeast Asia remains one of the most exciting real estate markets internationally,” he added.
