Hua Hin for Coldwell Banker

Global real estate franchise Coldwell Banker is set to open its latest office in Hua Hin (pictured) next week.

The company was founded by entrepreneurs Colbert Coldwell and Benjamin Banker in 1906, and according to the company it changed the way people bought and sold homes across America, ultimately becoming one of the most trusted real estate brands in the world.

More than 100 years later the Coldwell Banker network is still recognised for its innovation and leadership across 3,000 offices in 50 countries.

Coldwell Banker Thailand was established in 2015, and is a high-end-to-luxury focused full service real estate solutions provider. As per its promise more than100 years ago, the firm’s mission is to deliver the treasure of home ethically and honestly.

As part of its expansion, Coldwell Banker’s vision is to build and operate a strong network of branded franchise offices, initially across central Bangkok, followed by key destinations throughout Thailand.

These offices will be located in prime locations, feature luxurious interior designs as well as the latest technology, and staffed with highly-trained industry professionals, and importantly, operating under the Coldwell Banker Code of Ethics.

Thailand Chief Executive Officer Adam Taugwalder told Dot Property Group: “Ultimately what we are trying to achieve is to introduce a high level of standards and consistency into the deeply fragmented real estate agency market; something we are confident will be appreciated by consumers.

“Buying a home is generally the biggest investment that an individual makes in his lifetime. Our aim is to de-commoditise the buying process by focusing on creating professional, bespoke experiences for our clients.”

Taugwalder counts some impressive companies as his previous employers, including global brands Berkshire Hathaway and private jet pioneer NetJets Aviation Inc. His aim is to build some of the superior customer experience processes learnt into Coldwell Banker Thailand’s operations.
