The PARQ was awarded LEED Gold certification as it continues to set the standard for green innovation in Thailand. It is the first mixed-use development to receive LEED v4 BD+C: (LEED Version 4 in Building Design and Construction) Core and Shell certification in the country.

“To be the first mixed-use project in Thailand to be certified by the latest v4 LEED Gold standard accentuates the position of The PARQ as a truly smart, integrated office, commercial and lifestyle spaces with the cutting edge of eco-friendly and sustainable technologies,” Khun Kamolnai Chaixanien, Executive Director of TCC Assets (Thailand), noted.

As one of Thailand’s most innovative developments, The PARQ has received its fair share of honors since first launching. This includes winning The Special Recognition Award for Green Innovation at the Dot Property Thailand Awards 2020.

“The Special Recognition Award for Green Innovation is a validation of our vision brought to life – to become Thailand’s leader in Green Innovation and Sustainability. Today, The PARQ is on track to become Thailand’s first LEED and WELL certified commercial building through the successful collaborative development efforts of both TCC Assets and Frasers Property,” Khun Kamolnai told Dot Property. “We are humbled by this recognition and look forward to continue to raise the standards of Green Innovation and Sustainability in Thailand and beyond.”

In addition to now being v4 LEED Gold standard, The PARQ is also WELL* precertified and remains on track to receive recognition. It is the only mixed-use development in Thailand to hold both certifications.

“As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to change our way of life, having a healthy environment in office buildings becomes a key factor for people as they prepare for re-entry to the workplace and lifestyle spaces,” Khun Kamolnai said. “We foresee greater demand for workplaces and commercial spaces that promote the wellbeing of occupants. The PARQ, as a fully integrated building created with people-centricity and environmental sustainability principles in mind, is keen to embrace the returning livelihood of urban working people and the community.”
