Looking for a place to celebrate Christmas in Bangkok this holiday season? The Okura Prestige Bangkok is hosting sparkling celebrations and gourmet dining at its award-winning venues between now and the big day. Even Santa Claus will be stopping by.
The festivities are highlighted by the Christmas Eve and Christmas Day celebrations at Up & Above, the hotel’s renowned restaurant on the 24th floor. A festive brunch and dinner buffet is being served this year with free flow Prosecco or Champagne, live music and a visit from Santa Claus with presents for the children.
The buffet will feature seasonal favourites such as roasted Christmas turkey with all the trimmings and Yorkshire pudding as well as mouthwatering options such as roast wagyu sirloin served with thyme jus lobster, crab, oysters on ice, sushi, sashimi, and Japanese specialities. There will also be a wide range of desserts to choose from.
Christmas Eve brunch and dinner are available on 24 December while Christmas Day brunch and dinner is set for the 25 December. Several options, including free flow Prosecco and free flow Champagne, are available. Brunch goes from noon to 3 p.m. while dinner is held from 6 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
Those who book and pre-pay for a table at brunch or dinner on either Christmas Eve or Christmas Day will receive one complimentary bottle of wine for bookings of four people or more. Advanced bookings must be made before 15 December.
Also at Up & Above Restaurant this holiday season is a special Festive Afternoon Tea. A selection of pastries using traditional holiday ingredients, such as chestnuts, berries and chocolate, are served alongside mulled wine or eggnog and special Noël tea from Mariage Frères flavoured with Christmas spices. Afternoon Tea is served from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., daily from 1-31 December.
