Bhiraj Tower welcomes Lazada

Bhiraj Tower at EmQuartier, recognised as a 5-star ‘Best Office Development Thailand’ at the recent Asia-Pacific Property Awards, has welcomed regional e-commerce leader Lazada as its latest resident.

Speaking at a signing ceremony for space in the Grade ‘A’ office building in Bangkok’s Sukhumvit, Alessandro Piscini, Chief Executive Officer of Lazada Thailand said: “Since launching the company in Thailand we have experienced strong growth, and as a result, we outgrew our existing office space and began looking for new premises.

“As a lifestyle brand, we wanted a building and location that suited the needs of our employees; we wanted good access to transportation, particularly public transport, and good facilities.

“At Lazada our hours are not always the traditional 9-5 so we wanted to make sure there was a range of food and restaurants within easy reach, and a surrounding environment that fitted the lives of our staff.

“Bhiraj Tower was able to tick all the boxes as the location speaks for itself, but we have also been impressed by the office facilities too, as the building uses leading technologies to create the right environment for tenants.”

Pitiphatr Buri, Executive Director of Bhiraj Buri Group, said: “We are delighted Lazada has chosen Bhiraj Tower at EmQuartier as their new office location.

“Lazada is an exciting business with a large, Gen-Y staff, and they will find a wealth of facilities at their exposure.

“Welcoming an online business also adds to the diversity of businesses housed at the premises, with finance, industrial businesses, consumer goods and services already taking their space. This demonstrates that Grade ‘A’ offices with a mixed-use concept are able to fulfill the needs of tenants and various lifestyles of employees perfectly”.

Bhiraj Tower at EmQuartier has 45-storeys with 47,500 sqm of office space and a direct link to EmQuartier shopping complex and BTS Phrom Phong. The building also houses 570 sqm of meeting facilities and boasts a rooftop helipad with a private lounge.
