Bangkok’s household name in real estate opens new iconic office

The booming economy, a rapidly developing infrastructure, and the ASEAN integration: Thailand is on the verge of something big, and is calling foreigners and expats from all nations to its promising landscape, and its large collection of available properties.

With more and more properties being built and new agencies popping up all the time, it’s clear that the real estate industry in Thailand has been swiftly meeting the demand. But simply having these resources in Thailand does not mean that they have been easy to access or all in one place. However, this year Bangkok’s household name in real estate for expats, HomeSpace Realty joined forces with RE/MAX, the world’s biggest name in real estate.

This June, right at the start of the high season, RE/MAX HomeSpace will not only provide the most comprehensive real estate services in the capital, it will also have one of the most impressive real estate offices. With intentions of creating an iconic landmark building, the new office will cover four storeys and more than 400 sqm, dedicated entirely to helping all persons needing property service in Bangkok. The new office will provide a convenient, single location for expatriates to easily communicate with the city’s elite agents; highly trained professionals with access to a global network containing properties in over 95 countries, 7,000 offices and over 90,000 agents. Those who come to the new RE/MAX HomeSpace office will not be limited to just buying, renting or selling property. The company has a dedicated property management staff, a construction manager and partner, a condo painting manager and an attorney on staff. They even offer a free moving service for any person who buys a condo from them, a service that is currently unique for agents in Thailand to offer.

The launch of the RE/MAX HomeSpace Realty office coincides with Bangkok’s rapid development and influx of foreign property owners. Five years ago, the real estate industry was defined by independent agents, inconsistent standards and a general lack of oversight and professionalism. But lucky for today’s consumer, especially foreigners who may have a hard time communicating with local agents, the market is moving towards larger international agencies

HomeSpace Real ty, originally founded in 1997,was taken over in 2009 by Rob Doud, an American expatriate with a vision of turning the company into the most comprehensive agency for expats in Thailand.

Since then, Doud has aggressively expanded the company, having acquired three separate companies and significantly grown numbers in terms of staff as well as property listings.
