Chatchai Sirilai, Vice President of the Government Housing Bank’s loan division, said five borrowers have been eligibly entitled to a civil-state housing project, and have signed a contract with the bank for loans with a combined value of THB 3.42 billion.
Some 300 applicants are currently under consideration for credit approval, which would total THB 280 million baht. Most have applied for a loan to buy houses with prices ranging from THB 1.2 million to THB 1.5 million each.
The maximum value of houses eligible under the scheme is THB 1.5 million.
The credit line of about THB 20 billion is expected to be exhausted by the end of April.
