News views up in August

Our exclusive story covering the substantial rise in Chinese property buyers looking at Thailand property and real estate was the most-read story last month, and helped news page views for both Thailand-Property.com and DotProperty.co.th see a month-on-month increase of more than 18 percent.

Despite the events in Bangkok last month, news page views to the Thai news stories also saw a substantial month-on-month increase of in excess of 40 percent.

Dot Property Group, through its two Thailand websites – Thailand-Property.com which is the largest English language property portal in the kingdom – and DotProperty.co.th which is the fastest-growing property portal in Thailand – is also the most prolific publisher of property news and information that matters.

In August 2015 the group published more than 110 English property news stories and blogs from Thailand, the region and around the world – maintaining its position as the number one source of property news and information in Thailand. That’s more than the main Thailand-focused property news media combined!

Chinese buyers have been increasing their activity in most of Thailand, and especially within its property and real estate resort markets. Last month’s exclusive, revealing exactly how much their interest has grown with data from China’s leading property website for Chinese overseas property buyers, saw the most number of readers.

Attracting the second most number of readers was our story based on research from Thailand’s Association for Real Estate Affairs, looking at whether Bangkok’s property market is experiencing a ‘Bubble in a bust’ situation.

The Chinese, and in particular the wild fluctuations of their currency and how Thailand’s property and real estate markets may benefit, was the third-most read story on Dot Property Group’s English news pages last month – underlining how developers and agents in the Kingdom are constantly looking for the next new buying demographic.
