New Six Billion Baht Office Tower on Ratchadapisek Road

The AIA Group, which recently announced that it has made progress with the real estate investments it made in Thailand late last year has made the decision to create new six billion baht office tower on Ratchadapisek Road in Bangkok, which will be the new AIA Capital Center.

The new project is anticipated to be the “most outstanding design landmark” in the financial district, as it has brought in Beaumont Partnership, a highly acclaimed architecture company. Not only will the new office have an avant-garde design, but will also feature cutting edge technology, a variety of facilities and completely optimized space.

What is possibly one of the most unique features of the building though is that it will be a green building, making it Ratchadapisek Roads’s first eco-tower.  Some of the eco-friendly features include an energy-saving smart elevator, private internal staircases to encourage walking instead of taking the elevator, special glass that will keep the building cool ad protect against sound, and three-metre high ceilings that allow more natural light. The high ceilings also make the building the office tower with the highest vertical ceilings in all “Grade A” commercial buildings in Thailand.
