Celebrating Thanksgiving in Bangkok is an interesting experience to say the least. Five-star hotel buffets, exclusive eateries and quaint local spots each offer their own unique take on the turkey day classics. And in some cases, you can even get a free hotel room with dinner. Welcome to 2020!

It’s safe to say Thanksgiving in Bangkok won’t be as lively this year with many places scaling down their offerings due to a lack of visitors currently in the country. That being said, it’s still possible to find turkey and pumpkin pie on Thursday, November 26. Here are some of our favorite spots to enjoy Thanksgiving in Bangkok.

Where to celebrate Thanksgiving in Bangkok this year

Bourbon Street Restaurant and Oyster Bar

Just about every American expat in Bangkok has stopped by Bourbon Street Restaurant and Oyster Bar on Ekkamai for Thanksgiving at least once during their time in the city. Simply put, the restaurant is the turkey day gold standard.

It is important to note that reservations aren’t accepted, and diners have a two-hour limit to get their fix. The wait times can be long but are more than worth it. The Thanksgiving buffet happens all day Thursday with an encore on Friday evening in case you were busy the day before. Learn more here.

Landmark Hotel

The Landmark Hotel has been doing Thanksgiving celebrations for years although the Nana-area hotel has scaled down festivities for 2020. The Huntsman is offering a Thanksgiving set menu this year in lieu of the traditional buffet spread. However, the chefs here are excellent and will certainly deliver a meal to remember.

57th Street at the Bangkok Marriott Hotel Sukhumvit

Located near Thong Lor, the Bangkok Marriott Hotel Sukhumvit is doing a Thanksgiving buffet at 57th Street. The food is good, but the deal you can score here is even better. If you spend THB4000 or more at 57th Street, you will receive a complimentary night at the hotel. Click here to read more.

Roadhouse BBQ

Roadhouse BBQ has done buffets in the past but has switched over to a set menu. Regardless, the food here is amazing and it’s a pretty cool place. The restaurant is perfect if you want to enjoy a more casual Thanksgiving meal. Read more here.

Paleo Robbie

If you don’t feel like going out, Paleo Robbie will bring the Thanksgiving feast to you. They are offering a holiday meal where nothing is processed, and no foods are artificial. This makes it a perfect choice for those in the mood for something healthier. Read more here.
