Habitat Group’s luxury project on the shores of Pattaya.

One of Thailand’s most reputable property developers, Habitat Group Company Limited, is expanding its property portfolio as revealed by Chanin Vanijwongse, CEO of Habitat Group Company Limited. Adding five new projects over the course of the year, starting with X2 Pattaya Oceanphere. Crowned to be the only luxury pool villa project on the beachfront of South Pattaya comes, it comes with a five-star service to complement its slick design.

Habitat Group’s strategy is to invest in popular destinations in Thailand. Ear marking Pattaya due to its potential as it still generates healthy interest as reinforced by its 75 percent occupancy rate. This coupled with the area’s improved infrastructure has made Pattaya even more appealing.

Many local investors and some from China have cherry picked Pattaya thanks to the the following improved infrastructure.

  1. The expansion of U Tapao Airport. Resulting in direct international flights from China, Malaysia, Southeast Asian countries, and Russia, that are due to start operating this year.
  2. The extension of the Motorway Bangkok-Pattaya, with exits in Sattahip and Na Jomtien meaning that travelling through the centre of Pattaya is now avoided.
  3. High-speed ferry between Pattaya, Hua Hin and Bangkok. The Pattaya to Hua Hin route commenced in the first quarter of 2017, with the remaining routes expected to launch within the next year.
  4. High-speed train between Bangkok and Pattaya currently under construction. Once completed it will take only 45 minutes from Bangkok to Pattaya.
  5. Pattaya is the only travel destination in Thailand to be surrounded by industrial estates and ports such as Laem Chabang Industrial Estate, Hemaraj Industrial Estate, Laem Chabang Port, and Mab Tapud Port. This results in many residents and visitors both in Pattaya and to the surrounding areas.

X2 Pattaya Oceanphere.

Situated on Soi Na Jomtien 56, X2 Pattaya Oceanphere is just 500 metres from the most beautiful beach in South Pattaya. A modern luxury pool villa designed to enjoy the sea breeze with the utmost privacy. With just two unit types, one bedroom units range from an impressive 138.5 to 193.5 sq m and two bedroom unit between 201.5 and 267 sq m. Each with a private swimming pool and garden, these are the epitome of luxury and it is no wonder that 40 percent of the units have already been reserved.

Habitat Group have an impressive track record in Pattaya. In 2015 they launched and successfully sold X2 Vibe Pattaya SeaPhere on Soi Na Jomtien 32. About 80 percent of the buyers were Thais who wanted to invest in real estate, while the remaining 20 percent were international investors interested in Pattaya properties such as those from Singapore, Hong Kong and China. This illustrates the strong purchasing power that Habitat Group has managed to capture, and that investors are still looking for properties to invest in.

In addition to Pattaya, Habitat Group will be also be focusing on the Bangkok market. Creating luxury low-rise condominiums situated in prime central locations. With limited units, modern in design and addresses on Wireless Road and Sukhumvit Road, the projects will have an air of exclusivity that will add to its appeal and their value.
