Habitat Group unveils low-rise, high-living philosophy at Walden Sukhumvit 39

Chanin Vanijwongse, Habitat Group CEO, at a press conference to announce Walden Sukhumvit 39

Habitat Group launched its second luxury low-rise condominium under the Walden brand during a recent press event. Walden Sukhumvit 39 will be developed under a low-rise, high-living philosophy that embraces a nature-inspired design. The condo is located in Phrom Phong, one of the best places for Bangkok real estate investment.

“High-end condominiums continue to grow in popularity, attracting both Thai and international buyers as well as investors. With Grade A locations scarce, especially along Sukhumvit Road and the BTS route, land prices are at a premium, which in turn has meant prices for condominiums in Sukhumvit 39 have grown exponentially over the past five years,” Chanin Vanijwongse, Habitat Group chief executive officer, explained.

The developer is keeping both end-users and investors in mind with Walden Sukhumvit 39. The eight-storey condominium will have a total of 116 units with one- and two-bedroom residences available. Habitat Group estimates a 70/30 percent split between investors and owner-users. For property investors, the firm is predicting an average rental yield of up to five percent annually.

“Sukhumvit is a high potential location. It is not only a good location for living but it’s also an important business centre that’s surrounded by facilities including 5-star hotels, office buildings, shopping malls, tourist destinations, hospitals, schools and universities,” Chanin noted. “Located in Phrom Phong area of Bangkok, close to the Phrom Phong BTS station, Emquartier and Emporium malls and Samitivej Hospital, Walden Sukhumvit 39 offers privacy and convenience in the heart of Bangkok.”

Walden Sukhumvit 39 provides an inner city sanctuary

Walden Sukhumvit 39 will have many trees onsite to provide shade for both the outdoor facilities and indoor areas. There will also be an expansive rooftop amenity zone featuring separate swimming pools for adults and children, a Jacuzzi, a sky terrace and communal spaces for family activities.

Meanwhile, each unit has a spacious, airy design with room functionality that can be adjusted to suit owners’ lifestyles. Habitat Group’s goal was to complement the natural feel and lush landscaping of Walden Sukhumvit 39 with modern technology and innovation.

“We are confident that Walden Sukhumvit 39 will be well received by customers due to its location and high investment potential that will deliver strong rental returns and long term asset gain,” Chanin detailed. “Habitat Hospitality, will manage the properties and facilitate rent for owners, ensuring yields are high, and we expect investors to profit from Walden Sukhumvit 39 with a three-to-five percent capital gain yearly.”

From Pattaya to Bangkok

Habitat Group built its reputation in Pattaya for developments such as X2 Pattaya Oceansphere and Wyndham Atlas Wongamat Pattaya. This year saw the developer enter Bangkok’s CBD for the first time ever. The firm’s inital Bangkok project, Walden Asoke, is now 90 percent sold out after launching in March.
