AP “thinks differently” to find success

Many people wonder what is the secret behind AP Thailand’s success? The answer is simple. The developer “thinks differently” which allows it to create projects that capture the imagination of consumers. One of the key traits of this culture is the willingness to share knowledge with its business partners and Thai society.

For more than three years, AP has partnered with Japan’s Mitsubishi Estate Group allowing the two firms to share insights with one another. The pair has developed eight projects together in total with more developments in the pipeline.

“AP and MEC continue to look at the same direction and we’re still planning to develop the new condominium in 2017,” AP Chief Executive Anuphong Assavabhokhin stated. “What we see as the greatest achievement is not our joint venture for AP and our Japanese partner, but the fact we have worked together to share and pass on knowledge in many areas at all levels.”

The homebuilder also passes on knowledge to Thai society via the AP Academy. The academy is the first institution in Thailand to provide comprehensive real estate learning. Diverse courses and learning tools are available for students wanting to be a part of the real estate industry.

AP has high hopes for 2017

The firm also announced that intends to launch 20 new projects in Thailand this year. There will be nine single detached home complexes, eight townhouse projects and three condominium developments. The developer believes that Thailand’s real estate fundamentals are solid and is confident in the projects it is launching this year.

“Today, there are clear signs of things returning to normal in terms of marketing activities and purchasing. This year the company expects more competition in the low-rise segment,” Anuphong stated. “The challenge for the company from now on will be to acquire land to develop projects that are in line with consumers’ expectations.”

AP will kick things off with three first quarter launches. Housing developments Pleno Bangyai and Pleno Sukawat will be the first two projects launched by the developer this year. Ban Klang Muang Classe Ekkamai-Ramintra Phase 2, is also expected to be unveiled by the firm in the coming months.
